- Asynchronous Writes, Synchronous Reads: D1's design allows database writes to occur locally and replicate out later, while reads are always accessed from the nearest replica, which is guaranteed to be up-to-date with that last write.
- Cloudflare Network Management: Cloudflare monitors ActiveFlare deployed applications and automatically creates database replicas to spread user traffic across multiple servers in locations closer to your users.
Sutando ORM
Weave object-based, active record models shared between your front- and backend. Great Typescript support, migrations, and a Knex-powered query builder. Share read/write hooks, relationships, and object methods for a delightful developer experience both in the browser and on the server.
- Not for you? Layer in your own ORM or use the Cloudflare D1 API directly. Sutando is a great starting point, but you can switch what you use without having to rewrite your application - whenever you want.
